Why look at something other than TeamViewer?
TeamViewer is a capable product, and looking elsewhere doesn't mean it stopped working. For a small business the question is more often fit: whether a plan matches the number of people and computers you actually have, and how much of the setup you're expected to work out on your own.
Aile Insight answers the second part differently. Instead of a self-service download, every account starts with a conversation, and we set up your machines with you. If that isn't what you're after, TeamViewer may suit you better, and we say where below.

Where Aile Insight is different
Personal setup
Every account starts with a conversation about your machines and your team. On a call of about 20 minutes we install the app with you, connect your first machine and check it opens from where you need it. Nobody on your team has to learn remote access from documentation.
Direct support
When a machine won't connect, you contact the people who set it up, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm US Eastern. Studio accounts are first in line.
Browser access on every plan
Nothing to install on the laptop, tablet or borrowed computer you connect from. Sign in, pick the machine, and it opens in a browser tab.
Sized for small teams
Plans go up to 15 people. Team and Studio add the things a small team uses day to day: renamed machines, labels and saved views, and team members with roles. Aile Insight isn't a fleet-management tool and doesn't try to be.

Where TeamViewer may fit better
- Lots of devices on one license. TeamViewer's Business plan lists 200 managed devices for unattended access with a single user. Aile Insight's largest plan covers 100 machines.
- Free personal use. TeamViewer is free for helping family and friends or reaching your own devices. Aile Insight has a free trial, not a free plan.
- Phones and tablets. TeamViewer lists Android and iOS/iPadOS support (iOS is screen sharing only, and not every plan includes mobile). Aile Insight reaches Macs, Windows PCs and Linux servers.
- One-off help for anyone. With QuickSupport, the person you're helping doesn't need an account. With Aile Insight, the computer you open has our app on it, installed during setup.
- Starting today. TeamViewer is self-service. Aile Insight starts with an application; we reply within a few working days and then set up a call.
- Larger teams. TeamViewer's Corporate plan lists 30 users. Aile Insight's plans go up to 15 people.
Pricing
The two services count different things. TeamViewer sizes plans by users, simultaneous connections and managed devices. Aile Insight sizes them by people, machines and remote time per day, so the Solo plan's two hours a day is a real limit worth checking against how you work.

Questions
Is Aile Insight free, like TeamViewer for personal use?
No. TeamViewer offers free use for personal purposes; Aile Insight is a paid service for businesses. You can try it free for 14 days with no card, starting when your first machine connects after the setup call. When your trial ends, we'll send you a simple way to pay for the plan you choose.
Can I open my computers from a browser?
Yes, on every plan. You sign in at app.aileinsight.com and open the machine from a list, so nothing is installed on the computer you connect from. Each machine you reach runs a small Aile Insight app.
Can I reach a computer when nobody is at it?
Yes, as long as it's switched on, awake and its Aile Insight app is running. Nobody has to be there to accept the connection.
Can I help someone while they're working on their computer?
Yes. On a Mac you see their screen as it is and can take the mouse when they ask. Windows Remote Desktop opens a separate session and signs the person out of the screen, so for helping someone at a Windows PC we set up screen sharing on that PC during setup.
How long does it take to get started?
The application takes about 2 minutes and we reply within a few working days. After a short discovery call, the setup call itself takes about 20 minutes.
Are sessions recorded?
No. Sessions are not recorded, and logs are kept for 60 days.
